Thomas County COVID-19 positive tests now at 244

THOMASVILLE — The Georgia Department of Public Health reports there have been 244 COVID-19 positive tests in Thomas County, with 26 deaths.
Archbold officials reported Monday that to date there have been 450 positive test results for COVID-19 across their system, with 47 deaths.
The health care system also has had a total of 1,675 negative test results. Of those who have tested positive, 348 are at home, and many of them are thought to have recovered while at home. There are 24 patients who have tested positive for the novel coronavirus at Archbold Memorial Hospital.
There have been 186 inpatients who have been discharged, or are no longer testing positive or others known to Archbold as having recovered.
From its Pinetree Boulevard screening site, Archbold has had 163 total positive test results. There have been 806 negative test results from the Pinetree screening site. Those tested at the screening site and waiting on results will be notified by their primary care provider.
No patient at Brooks County Hospital has a positive test result. There is one patient at Grady General and nine at Mitchell County Hospital who have tested positive.
No resident at either Glenn-Mor Nursing Home or Mitchell Convalescent Center has tested positive. As of Monday, there are 21 residents at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home classified as having a COVID-19 positive test result
