Stop the vitriolic attacks

I find it truly regrettable that a few individuals who have made significant contributions in their lives and to their community should, in their later years, feel compelled to publicly castigate others for their actions. To prove their attacks, they assume or create situations which either are unfounded or have previously been proven to be untrue. If it satisfies their position, however wrong, bigoted or biased it may be, they feel duty bound to take the lead to demean.

It is acceptable to share an opinion about another person without being vitriolic. Calling names and accusing another person of dastardly acts have no place in a civilized society.
