Thanks for your help
“I would like to thank the two gentlemen who stopped and changed my flat tire.”
Flat fee too high
“How do I get some cheap city water? I live nine-tenths of a mile from the bypass. I pay a flat fee of $35 per month for the water.”
Would like to know
“Could the owners of Crawdaddy’s be specific about where the money is going in the Christmas tree raffle? A lot of us would like to know.”
A job well done
“Thank you to Thomasville Rehabilitation Physical Therapy for all the staff for a job well done. Your kindness will never be forgotten.”
What took so long?
“What has taken so long to fill the warden’s position? They have known he was leaving since the summer.”
To be commended
“You need to check out the lights off Hwy. 84 on Pierce Chapel Road. Coming from Thomasville turn left, coming from Cairo turn right. Beautiful Christmas scenes. They are to be commended. It will put you in the Christmas spirit.”
Selfish, disgraceful
“It won’t matter if you’re buried in a pine box, satin lined box or urn with ashes, you’re still dead. To insist your children take on unnecessary expenses while they are still grieving is selfish and disgraceful.”
Looks like snow
“God bless all the farmers and personally I think all the cotton on the side of the road looks like snow. Thanks for a good Christmas.”
What sacrifice?
“During World War II, Americans struggled through the gas rationing and other sacrifices. During our current war on terror, Americans are increasingly driving big SUVs that get pathetic gas mileage. Where is the sacrifice today?”
Wisdom, forethought
“What’s the controversy about the pine box as a casket? Both of my parents are still alive and well and have the wisdom and forethought to plan and pay for their funeral arrangements. My dad picked out a beautiful pine box for his casket.”
Never too busy
“To the person who said a hairdresser was too busy, call 226-2834 and you’ll find a sweet young lady who’s never too busy for a new client wanting a lovely hairdo.”
Thanks, Urgent Care
“Thank you to all the doctors at Urgent Care. I had a light heart attack and they treated me so nice.”
Team spirit
“Go Jackets.”
Beautiful job
“The lights on East Oleander in Coolidge are beautiful. It’s a job well done and we enjoy looking at them.”
