She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Tabitha Chapter No. 31, Order of Eastern Star and deaconess and mother of the church. Mrs. Thigpen was a former dietary assistant for Thomas County School System and homemaker. Survivors include daughters and their husbands, Fleeta C. Sexion (Larry) of Thomasville, Mattie L. Murray (Virgil) of Thomasville, Cloretta T.
