Services for James Lee von Roden, 49, are at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Beggs Funeral Home in Madison, Fla., with burial at Stonewall Cemetery in Lee, Fla. Mr. von Roden died Saturday, March 12, 2011 in Madison, Fla. He was born in Little Rock, Ark. and moved to Lee in 1998 coming from Tarpon Springs, Fla. He was the owner and operator of Von’s Automotive in Madison, wascaptain of the Lee Volunteer Fire Department and President of the Lee Volunteer Fire Department Board of Directors.  He was a member of Lee United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Shirley von Roden of Lee; two daugthers, Lori Salsgiver Dowdy of Lee and Stephanie Kelly of New Port Richey, Fla.; two brothers, Jack von Roden of New Port Richey and Mark von Roden of Largo, Fla.; one sister; and four grandchildren, Zacchary, T. J., Sophia and Abbey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lee Volunteer Fire Dept., P.O. Box 25, Lee, Fla. 32059.
