THOMASVILLE- Thomasville Humane is thrilled to announce their Collections Event, an extraordinary evening that brings together rare vintage Land Rovers and memorabilia, live music, and great company in support of the shelter’s mission.
Taking place on Saturday, November 2nd at 6:00 p.m., the event will be hosted at the home of dear friends and Thomasville Humane supporters, Hope and Todd Whiddon, and will feature their exclusive showcase of Land Rovers, rare Land Rover memorabilia, original artwork crafted from Land Rover parts, and vintage models that will delight collectors and automotive enthusiasts alike.
The evening’s entertainment includes live acoustic music from the Kenny Hill Band, gourmet offerings from South Georgia Catering Co., and handcrafted cocktails from The Dog and Pony Pub, available all night. Guests will also have the chance to hear from keynote speaker Jeffrey Aronson, Editor of Rovers Magazine, who will share insights on the Land Rover legacy and its relationship with man’s best friend.
One of the most exciting highlights of the event is the opportunity to enter a raffle for a chance to drive a 1993 NAS Defender 110 in the upcoming Land Rover Rally. This rare vehicle, one of only 534 manufactured for the American market, is part of the host’s collection. Raffle tickets are priced at $25 and are available for purchase on their website at thomasvillehumane.org/landrover and at the event as well. Participants do not need to attend the event to enter, making it accessible to all Land Rover fans.
Funds raised from the Collections event will directly support Thomasville Humane’s mission to provide critical care, medical support, and shelter for homeless pets, finding every animal in their care a loving, forever home.
