THOMASVILLE- The City of Thomasville is hosting its next First Friday Sip & Shop on November 1st. Experience the charm of Downtown Thomasville and enjoy a lively performance by Swamp Music to wrap up the evening.

Starting at 5 p.m., Downtown Thomasville invites guests to immerse themselves in shopping and dining adventures. Many shops and restaurants will remain open late, offering a variety of options. Those who are 21 or older can enjoy adult beverages from a participating business within the designated First Friday Sip & Shop event district.

“Many retailers extend their hours during the First Friday events, creating an exceptional opportunity to kick off your holiday shopping,” said Cassidee Brooks, Special Events Coordinator for the City of Thomasville. “With a diverse array of restaurants and food trucks joining us, you can enjoy a satisfying dinner before the concert begins.”

After shopping and dining in Downtown Thomasville, grab a treat at Shugs Funnel Cakes or S&G World Famous BBQ at The Ritz Amphitheater until 10 p.m. Swamp Music, a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band, will be performing from 7-9 p.m., promising to kick off an exciting weekend!

This upcoming event aims to be family-friendly, offering a great opportunity to discover all that Downtown Thomasville has to offer.  According to Main Street Director Brandy Avery, “These events not only support local businesses but also highlight the vibrant heart of Downtown Thomasville for both residents and tourists.”
