Graveside services for Dorothy Argle Pettyjohn Blackburn are at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at Laurel Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Tim Robson will officiate. Honorary pallbearers are Matthew Moody, Dennis Eubanks, Donnie Eubanks, Jonathan Bryant, Richard Lewis and Gregory Blackburn. Mrs. Blackburn died Monday, March 24 at Archbold Hospital. Born Feb. 12, 1933, in Colquitt County, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Carroll Pettyjohn and Dora Nichols. On Sept. 22, 1950, in Albany, she was married to Grady F. Blackburn who survives. She was a homemaker. Other survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Gary F. Blackburn (Cathie) of Pavo; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy Blackburn Moody (Dwayne) of Thomasville; six grandchildren, Michelle Bryant (Jonathan), Teri Lewis (Richard), Gregory Blackburn, Matthew Moody, Misty Moody, Michael Moody; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
