THOMASVILLE- Imagine Thomasville proudly joined New Hire Solutions in celebrating a remarkable milestone—20 years of service to the Thomasville community and beyond during a special ribbon-cutting ceremony. The ceremony was held on April 17th at 174 Big Star Drive to commemorate the occasion and recognize the company’s continued commitment to local workforce and economic development.

Founded in 2005 by local entrepreneurs Ed Millere and Larry Plank, New Hire Solutions (NHS) was born out of a vision to serve the Thomas County community by connecting businesses with qualified employees. Just two years later, in 2007, NHS expanded its reach and capabilities by acquiring a local competitor—an early sign of the company’s growth-oriented mission.

The company’s trajectory has been one of steady growth and strategic expansion. New Hire Solutions marked its 10th anniversary by opening a new branch in Fitzgerald, and five years later, welcomed Landis Thomas as a partner who has served 15 years to NHS in total—helping the business grow even more. Over the past 20 years, NHS has proudly helped nearly 25,000 people across Southwest Georgia find jobs.

“What we’re most proud of is the impact we’ve had on people’s lives,” said Thomas. “Watching someone find a long-term career, move up in their company, and build a better life for themselves and their family—that’s what it’s all about.”

New Hire Solutions has grown beyond job placements to become a vital partner in community development. Through partnerships with local schools, New Hire Solutions is preparing the next generation of workforce leaders—conducting mock interviews, resume workshops, and helping students build valuable, transferrable skills. The team is also deeply involved in efforts around literacy, financial planning, and removing workforce barriers.

The company credits its success to a simple but powerful philosophy: be relatable, be present, and build real relationships. “We listen, we show up, and we genuinely care,” Thomas said. “That’s how we’ve earned the trust of our clients and community.”

NHS extends heartfelt thanks to its client companies—past, present, and future—for their trust and collaboration.

“You’ve made our success possible,” said Thomas.

Looking ahead, New Hire Solutions is eager to continue expanding its footprint in Fitzgerald and throughout Southwest Georgia, as new businesses enter the region.

“We’re excited about the future,” said Thomas. “Our goal is to keep building strong local partnerships that help our communities grow and thrive.”

Imagine Thomasville congratulates New Hire Solutions on 20 incredible years and looks forward to their continued success.
