Scholars Academy students shine at Regional Science Fair, advance to State Competition

THOMASVILLE- Scholars Academy students showcased their scientific excellence at the Regional Science Fair in Tifton, Ga., bringing home top awards and earning spots at the State Science Fair in Athens.

Baylie Ballard earned 1st place, while her brother, Wyatt Ballard, secured 2nd place, marking an impressive achievement for this talented sibling duo.

Additionally, Molly Grace Carney and Gracie Harden have also been selected to compete at the State Science Fair in Athens, where they will represent Scholars Academy among Georgia’s top young scientists.

“We are incredibly proud of these students for their dedication and hard work in the field of science. Their achievements reflect not only their talent and perseverance but also the support and guidance of their teachers and mentors,” said Dr. Artez Sims, Thomasville City School, Scholars Academy Director.
