Closures

Contractors are scheduled to begin work on railroad crossings due to asphalt repair from Monday, Aug. 8 through Thursday, Aug. 11. Work is expected to take place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

Three railroad crossings will be repaired at the following locations:

• North Boulevard between North Crawford Street and North Broad Street

• North Broad Street between Luten Lane and Forsyth Street

• Intersection of West Merrill Street and North Stevens Street

Road closures will be necessary in order to provide a safe zone for road work and to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Signage will be on site to direct traffic, but travelers in the area are encouraged to select an alternate route or to be prepared for some travel delays. Please be on the lookout for construction workers in the construction area and be patient while the contractor completes this work.
