THOMASVILLE- June is recognized as Men’s Health Month, a great time for men to remember to take the necessary steps to keep their health in check – particularly paying attention to cardiovascular health, prostate health and diabetes.

“It’s important that men listen to what their body is telling them and increase their chances of staying healthy by scheduling regular check-ups with their primary care physician,” said Eric Webb, MD, a urologist at Urology Associates of Archbold. “Symptoms like fatigue, erectile dysfunction, abdominal pain, difficulty urinating, decreased sexual desire, or possible infertility can all be signs of serious health problems.”

On Thursday, June 15, Dr. Webb will give a free community lecture titled “Health Talk: Men’s Health Month.” A variety of men’s health topics will be discussed. Men and women are invited to attend.

The talk will be held at 6 p.m. in the Williams Auditorium located in the East Tower of Archbold Memorial Hospital. Dinner will be served. Pre-registration is required by calling 229.584.5520 or visiting archbold.org/healthtalk.
