GSP investigates after Thomasville man is killed in hit-and-run

THOMASVILLE- On Saturday, June 24, 2023, a Thomasville resident was struck and killed by a car on Georgia 35, near the intersection of Highway 319 North and Duren Drive.
The hit-and-run occurred as the man, identified as 49 year-old Marvin Graham, crossed the road on foot around 9:30 p.m. The police are unsure which Northbound lane Graham was hit in, but found him in the middle of the Southbound lanes upon their arrival.

The hit-and-run driver was traveling north and fled the scene following the accident. According to the Thomas County Sheriff’s Office, after being hit, Graham was then run over by a dark, unknown Dodge truck where he was lying in the southbound lanes.
EMS arrived, pronouncing Graham dead at the scene.
Georgia State Patrol and the sheriff’s office are currently searching for both drivers. They are currently accessing security footage and took to Facebook to ask the drivers and anyone with information to come forward.
