THOMASVILLE- Earlier last month, Lucius Williams, 39, was arrested on trafficking methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute charges. The charges come following an extensive investigation in conjunction with the Thomas County Sheriff’s Office Vice/Narcotics Unit, Pelham Police Department, Georgia Bureau of Investigations and Drug Enforcement Administration.

According to the Vice/Narcotics Unit, numerous controlled buys took place during the months-long investigation, leading the agents to several locations, including Williams’ stash house and his car wash business.

On December 2, 2022, agents executed search warrants at three separate addresses: 264 E. Railroad St., 265 Palmer St. and 305 Everett St.

During the search, agents seized 1.6 kilograms of methamphetamine and 91,000 in cash.

Upon learning of the search, Williams took off running out the back door of one of the properties. He was later apprehended without incident. He is currently being held without bond.

Agents are proud of this large bust and said between the multiple controlled buys and search and seizure, they collected approximately 12 kilograms of methamphetamines, that would’ve been ultimately destined for the streets of Pelham and surrounding areas.
