Cross Creek Elementary students place in DAR

THOMASVILLE- This year’s theme for the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Junior Citizens Contest was “Sparkling in the Stars with the 50th Anniversary of the NASA Space Shuttle Program.”

Several Cross Creek students participated in this year’s competition and placed in the local level. First Place winners at the local level will be submitted in progression for the state, Southeastern Region, and national levels of competition. Student entries were banner, stamp design, poem, short story, poster, digital, graphic novel and community service.
