It was an impressive performance for the Yellow Jackets, says head coach Matt Tanner.

“This is the best start to a season we have ever had,” Tanner said. “They all competed well, and it seems we are more ahead of the game than usual. I look forward to seeing how we progress throughout the rest of the season.”

Dean Rollins (144) placed fourth. Central’s junior varsity champions included Damon Silvia (126), Wade Clark (138) and Kadrein Suckie (157).

Central will compete again at the Blue Devil Duals at Tift County High School on Saturday, Dec. 2.
