Thomasville’s Hill and Shaw named Hall of Fame Athletes of the year

THOMASVILLE — Thomasville High School student athletes Dallas Hill and Cole Shaw have been voted the Thomasville/Thomas County Hall of Fame Bill Raney Athletes of the Year for Thomasville High School. The two were voted on and nominated by THS and MPMS coaches.

Hill has been very successful in her high school athletics career. She is a member of the Thomasville cheerleading squad, girls basketball team and soccer team. She has lettered in cheerleading and basketball all four years and lettered in soccer for three. Hill has been most successful in cheerleading as she was named an FCA All American cheerleader and was offered the opportunity to be an FCA camp instructor. She has not made her college decision at this time.

Cole Shaw has been an exceptional receiver for Thomasville throughout his high school career. Shaw currently leads the 4-4 Bulldogs in receiving yards per game (54.5) and receiving touchdowns (6), according to Maxpreps. Shaw has lettered for the football team all four years and has been named the Positive Athlete for Southwest Georgia in football as well as an All-State team and All-Region team selection in his time at THS. Shaw has committed to play college football at Mercer.

Both Hill and Shaw will be honored at the Hall of Fame Banquet on Thursday, November 9th, as representatives of Thomasville High School.
