THOMASVILLE- Amerigroup Georgia and Comfort Cases have jointly announced a new initiative, The Comfort Cases Roadshow, which aims at providing all children in Thomasville’s foster care system a “Comfort Case” backpack, thoughtfully filled with essential personal care items, and a “Comfort XL,” 32-inch duffel bag during a packing party event.

The packing party event will take place this Thursday, November 2 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EST. at the Vashti Group Home.

To commemorate National Adoption Month in November, Comfort Cases founder Rob Scheer and Amerigroup are hosting the packing party with community members across the county, reinforcing the spirit of collective responsibility in supporting foster youth, and providing a renewed sense of dignity and support for every child during their transition into care or new placement settings.
