Fred track

Fred has weakened into a tropical wave, National Weather Service meteorolgists said Saturday afternoon, but is expected to strengthen into a tropical storm again, and approach the northern gulf coast late on Monday. 

Most of the impacts are expected well to the east of Fred’s center, with rain and wind impacts the main concern. Wind impacts could arrive as early as Sunday evening, but are more likely to arrive on Monday. A few tornadoes are also possible late Sunday into Monday.
