THOMASVILLE — After a two-month investigation, Thomas County/Thomasville Narcotics/Vice Division agents arrested two suspects involved in drug-related activities throughout the area.

Clemson Maurice Graham, 39 and Jesse James Graham, 67 were arrested Wednesday at around 4:30 p.m. following a routine traffic stop and search of their residence located on 209 Ruth Lane.

The uncle-nephew duo were seen traveling between their residence to locations in Jacksonville, Florida to carry out drug-related activities, according to authorities.

During surveillance, narcotics agents performed undercover drug transactions with Clemson Graham.

“After multiple buys and surveillance of Mr. Graham and activities he had going on at Ruth Lane, Mr. Graham was surveilled going to Duval County. He came back and as he came into Thomas County, he was pulled over by Georgia State Patrol,” said Keith Drawdy, narcotics/vice interim commander. 

After Clemson Graham was apprehended, agents recovered a half a kilo of powder cocaine, small amounts of marijuana, and crack cocaine from the vehicle.

Two juveniles were also in the vehicle at the time of the arrest.  

Jesse Graham was arrested at the Ruth Lane residence where agents also conducted a search and recovered cooking tools for crack cocaine, multiple baggies, methamphetamine, and three firearms, one of which had been reported stolen. 

Clemson Graham is charged with trafficking cocaine, cocaine possession with intent to distribute near a school, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, obstruction of an officer, damage to property, and multiple citations for speeding, DUIs, two counts of endangering a child and two counts of reckless conduct. 

Jesse Graham is charged with possession of tools of a crime, possession of a firearm during a commission of a felony, possession of meth, and possession of stolen property. 

“They’re still currently booked here at the Thomas County jail,” Drawdy said.
