Services for Lori Ann Maxwell, 37, of Camilla, are at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008, at Union Springs Baptist Church in Grady County. The Rev. Carl Harrell and the Rev. Tim Harrell will officiate and interment follows in Maxwell Hill Cemetery in Decatur County. Mrs. Maxwell died Saturday, Dec. 20, at Mitchell County Hospital. Born Dec. 31, 1970, in Thomas County, she was a member of Union Springs Baptist Church. She attended Pelham High School and graduated with a nursing degree from Darton College. Mrs. Maxwell was employed by Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Annie F. Daughtry Shirah. Survivors include her husband, Jack M. Maxwell of Camilla; a sister, Lisha Shirah of Pelham; a half-brother, Craig Smithwick of Camilla; stepson, Tim Maxwell and wife, Latrica of Camilla; step granddaughters, Kelley Joyner and husband, Luke, of Tifton and Holli Sapp and husband, Jarrell, of Camilla; step-great-grandchildren, Baley and Jhett Sapp. Memorials may be made to Maxwell Hill Cemetery Fund, c/o Ann Harrell, 1703 Old 179 N., Whigham, Ga. 39897.
