Pelham sweeps Central

THOMASVILLE — The Pelham Lady Hornets held off Thomas County Central’s comeback bid to earn a 49-39 non-region girls basketball win Tuesday night.

The Pelham boys team downed the Yellow Jackets 49-33.

Thomas County Central will travel to Harris County on Friday night for a Region 1-AAAAA matchup and will host Veterans on Saturday night.
