Anniversary

Providence Missionary Baptist Church is celebrating its annual Ushers Anniversary at 3 p.m., Sunday. The speaker is the Rev. O. Jermaine Simmons and guest church is Jacob Chapel. The theme is “The Usher Ministry-An Opportunity to Serve God by Serving His People.” Dinner follows the event.

Installation

Members of Mt. Pilgrim M.B. Church are holding an installation service for their new pastor, the Rev. Dellise Cox at 3 p.m., Sunday. The Rev. W.B. Sales is guest speaker. Dinner will be served.

Service

A pre-Thanksgiving service will be held at Daughter of Zion Bible Center Ministries Inc. at 3 p.m., Saturday. Prophetess Linda Marcus of Pelham is the speaker. The church is located at 464 W. Jackson St.
