Malorie Turnbull struck out five and tossed a no-hitter as Thomasville downed Seminole County 6-2 Saturday in a non-region softball game.

Mallory Fletcher hit a solo homer, and Turnbull was 2-for-3 at the plate with one RBI. Ava Fletcher also went 2-for-3 and Kelly Lane McDougald drove in two runs.

Baconton Charter held off Thomasville’s rally to take a 6-5 win, ending Saturday’s action.

Gracen Hinson was 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI, Jordan Williams had a triple and one RBI and Mallory Fletcher was 2-for-3.

Thomasville travels to Fitzgerald on Tuesday for a Region 1-AA game and visits Early County on Thursday for a region game.
