THOMASVILLE — The Thomasville Bulldogs basketball team ran its record to 8-2 with a pair of wins in the Denise Monroe Classic.

The Bulldogs, now 8-2, beat Highland Christian Academy 64-54 Saturday, following up on a 58-16 romp Friday night over Cairo.

The Cairo girls downed the Lady Bulldogs 60-54 Friday afternoon.

Thomasville will host the Holiday Hoopfest, beginning Thursday and running through Saturday.
