MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Colquitt County Board of Education on Thursday relieved head football coach Rush Propst of “any and all coaching duties.”

Propst has been suspended with pay since Feb. 26 while an investigation was under way. The board has still not disclosed what the allegations against him are.

The board heard public comments for about 30 minutes before going into executive session at 2:30 p.m. for its deliberations. They were in closed session until 4:45 p.m., when they came out and voted unanimously to relieve the coach of duty.
