Bulldogs run win streak to an even dozen

MOUNT DORA, Fla. — The Thomasville Bulldogs rapped out 13 hits and held off the Mount Dora Hurricanes for a 10-5 Wednesday.
With the win, the 12th straight for the Bulldogs, Thomasville improved to 17-4.
Nathan Smith was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for the Bulldogs, while Gabe Duncan was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Dalton Dollar was 2-for-3 with a double and scored two runs, Jacob Bradshaw was 2-for-3 and drove in a run and Maylon Cochran was 2-for-4 with one RBI.
Harrison Stewart doubled and had one RBI, and Seth Kipper had two RBIs.
Bradshaw went the first 5 2/3 innings on the mound, striking out six but allowing six hits and five walks. Duncan went the final 1 1/3, giving up just one hit and striking out one.
Brandon Riehm had a solo homer for the Hurricanes, while Jordan Fouts and Uzi Rosoles each had two RBIs.
The Bulldogs completed their Florida trip Thursday at Eustis.
