TIFTON — Coastal Plain CASA announced its first inaugural Cash for CASA raffle for Coastal Plain CASA, according a press release. The raffle will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at 8 p.m. on the Main Stage at the Rhythm and Ribs Festival in Tifton.  The first prize will be $10,000.  Second prize will be $2,500 and Third prize will be a Yeti Tundra prize pack valued at over $500.  There are only 400 tickets available and each ticket is $100, the release states.

Each ticket also has a coupon on it redeemable at various local businesses, including Splash & Dash, Espresso 41, Barbaritos, Cole’s Cakery and Dave’s Bread & Coffee House, the release states.

The event is made possible through the sponsorship of Tenneson Nissan, The Howard Center, The Floor Shoppe, The Pediatric Dental Center of Georgia and Honda of South Georgia, the release sates  

All proceeds will support the advocacy work that Coastal Plain CASA provides to the foster children of Tift, Turner, Irwin and Worth Counties, according to the release Coastal Plain CASA provides Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) to children in foster care to assure that their needs are met in a timely manner as well as helping them find a permanent, safe home as quickly as possible
