Ada Lee Mobley
FITZGERALD — Ada Lee Mobley, 76, of Fitzgerald, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006, at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, Fla.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald. Bro. Eddie Roberts will officiate. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mobley was born Jan. 5, 1930, in Irwin County, to the late Wilson and Zadie Parks White. She was also preceded in death by her husband, W.A. Mobley Sr.; a great-granddaughter, Olivia Grace Mobley; four brothers and five sisters.
She had lived in Brooksville for the past four years, moving there from Fitzgerald, where she lived most of her life. Mrs. Mobley was a former co-owner of W.A.’s Meat House, a former employee of Lowell’s Packing Company, Cleghorn Grocery and Mobley Sausage Company. She was a member of the Fitzgerald Church of God and attended Christian Fellowship Church in Brooksville.
She is survived by her sons, Willie A. (Julie) Mobley Jr., Jimmy (Glenda) Mobley and Carlos Mobley, all of Fitzgerald; daughters, Linda (Kent) Phillips of Fitzgerald and Brenda (Larry) Keen of Brooksville, Fla.; grandchildren, Johnny Mobley, Jeremy Phillips, Jason Mobley and Sandi Lee Mobley; great-grandchildren, Matthew Mobley, Joshua Mobley and Nate Phillips; and several nieces and nephews.

Dolores Moore
ALAPAHA — Dolores Moore, 77, of Alapaha, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Glory Cemetery. The Rev. Billy Roberts and the Rev. Ted Pierce will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville.
Mrs. Moore was born on Sept. 15, 1928, in Berrien County. She was the daughter of Winston Pierce and Eula Mae Flanders, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Orburn Jessie Moore, who died Jan. 10, 2006. She was a homemaker and of the United Methodist faith.
Survivors include a son, Gary Moore of Alapaha; a daughter, Teresa Douglas of Port St. Joe, Fla.; three brothers, Ted Pierce, Aaron Pierce and Mickey Pierce, all of Alapaha; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Meagan Marie
Caldwell
TIFTON — Our sweet, beautiful daughter Meagan Marie Caldwell, born Oct. 22, 2004, left us to live with Jesus on Feb. 18, 2006. Daddy and Mommy, Ted and Brenda (Crane) Caldwell and her big brother, five-year-old Andrew of Tifton, miss her very much.
Meagan’s great-grandmother Rosalea Mendoza of Mexico City; grandparents Ted and Graciela Caldwell of Tionesta, Pa., and Sam and Robin (Stanley) Crane of Edmond, Okla,. are shedding tears of sorrow and also joy for our special princess.
Meagan is forever loved and missed by her aunt and uncle Tammy and Dave Cathers of Edmond, Okla., her aunt and uncle Jamie and Eddie Caldwell of Fredericksburg, Va., and aunt and uncle Ann and Steve Barnett of Hickory, Pa. She also has many loving great-aunts and uncles and many cousins who will miss and cherish all of the memories she has left with us.
We are all comforted in the knowledge that Meagan has gone to live in heaven with her brother Michael Edward Caldwell, great-grandparents Bob and Alda Crane and Bob and LaJean Stanley and great-grandparents George and Anna Caldwell and Luis Mendoza.
Services will be held at at 11 a.m. Friday at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel in Edmond, Okla. Services are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home.
Agnes Harrell
Lavender
ALBANY — Agnes Harrell Lavender, 78, of Albany, died Monday, Feb. 20, 2006, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Sherwood Baptist Church. The Rev. Tom Pollock and Mr. Ross Powell will officiate. Interment will follow at Ty Ty First Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Mathews Funeral Home in Albany.
A native of Colquitt County, Mrs. Lavender had resided in Albany since 1960, moving from Forest Park. She moved to Ty Ty during her husband’s (Aaron Preston Lavender) illness. She returned to Albany after his death in 1989. Mrs. Lavender and her husband owned and operated Lavender’s Grocery and she later worked for Silver Eagle Transportation, which is now Arnold Transportation Services, as their secretary. She was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Glinda Singletary of Grayson, Charlotte Cato of Albany, Cathy Bietry and her husband Scott of Louisville, Ky., Regina Martel and her husband Tim of Albany; a brother, Albert F. (Sonny) Harrell Jr. of Snellville; two sisters, Buford Watkins of Birmingham, Ala., and Inez Wright of Norman Park; and six grandchildren, Chuck Singletary, Jamie Cato, Beau Bietry, Eric Dellinger, Ashley Dellinger and Cam Martel.
The family is at the residence of Tim and Regina Martel, 300 Hidden Lakes Road, Albany.

Ronald Stanley Archer
TY TY — Ronald Stanley Archer, 60, of Ty Ty, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Elder Lee Chambers will officiate. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Mr. Archer was born on Sept. 30, 1945, in Tift County. He was the son of Walter Stanley Archer and Margaret Lucile Hitchcock Archer, both deceased.
Mr. Archer was a sales representative of automotive repair equipment and a member of Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Rob Archer of Albany; a daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Brian Massingill of Valdosta; and three grandchildren, Addison Archer, Cole Massingill and Rachel Massingill.
