Anniversary

Bethel M.B. Church members are celebrating the anniversaries of deacon and deaconess boards at 11:30 a.m., Sunday. Oak Grove P.B. Church of Boston with Elder Calvin Harrison is in charge of the service. Dinner follows the event.

Program

New Olive Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 418 Pine St., is holding an anniversary program honoring its ushers. The event begins at 3 p.m., Aug. 20 and the Rev. Lonnie Robinson Jr. of Aucilla Missionary Baptist Church is the speaker.

Youth day

Richland M.B. Church of Boston is holding a Youth Day program at 2:30 p.m., Sunday. The speaker is Jemeka McCaskill of Boston. Music will be by Richland Youth Choir and the theme is Staying the Course.

Revival

Lassac C.M.E. Church, located on Parramore Fishpond Road will hold a three-night revival at 7 p.m., Aug. 15-17. The  Rev. Donnie Hopkins, pastor of Mt. Moriah M.B. Church is the guest evangelist.

Homecoming

Aucilla Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate homecoming with a meet and greet fun day on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church. The celebration will end on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Gary Sanders of Albany is the speaker.

Trial sermon

Brother Charles Jones is giving his trial sermon at 3 p.m., Sunday at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church.

Installation service

Mercy Seat Christian Church is holding an installation service for its new pastor, the Rev. James Bouyer of Tallahassee, Florida, at 11 a.m., Aug. 20.

Fellowship

The City and Countywide Fellowship Service is at 3 p.m., Sunday at Mt. Pilgrim M.B. Church. The Rev. William C. Brinson and Willow Head M.B. Church is in charge.
