Archbold recently named Shonkisha Jones the Archbold Memorial Hospital 2016-2017 employee of the year, and Archbold’s Glenn-Mor Nursing Home recently named Tamarra Childs the 2016-2017 employee of the year.

Shonkisha began working at Archbold in 2001 as a certified nursing assistant. She recently earned a degree in licensed practical nNursing (LPN), and she currently works as an LPN on the fifth floor at Archbold Memorial.

“Shonkisha truly represents everything we look for in an Archbold employee,” said Gwinette Alligood, Archbold nurse manager. “She’s very loyal to Archbold and extremely dedicated to her patients. She is always willing to go the extra mile to help her co-workers ensure our patients receive great care every time.”

Childs has worked as a certified nursing assistant at Glenn-Mor Nursing Home for eight years.

“Tamarra has all the qualities we look for in an Employee of the Year,” said Regenia Jones, GMNH director of nursing. “The residents and their families love Tamarra. She is always willing to go above and beyond what is asked of her. We’re very honored to have Tamarra represent us as Employee of the Year for Glenn-Mor.”
