Phillips-Fielding

Jennifer Phillips of Gastonia, North Carolina, and formerly of Thomasville, became the bride of Charles “Mike” Fielding, also of Gastonia and formerly of Thomasville, in a ceremony performed May 20, 2017, at First Baptist Church of Gastonia in Gastonia.
The bride is the daughter of Patricia Phillips Whitehead and Jim Whitehead of Tallahassee, Florida and Howard and Roxanne Phillips of Madison, Florida.
She is a 2002 graduate of Georgia State University College of Law, Atlanta with juris doctorate degree.
She is a financial crimes consultant at Wells Fargo.
The groom is the son of Charles and Hazel Fielding of Belmont, North Carolina and formerly of Thomasville.
He is a 1981 graduate of Ravenwood Academy in Meigs and a 2002 graduate of Thomas University in Thomasville. He is a financial crimes investigator at Wells Fargo.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Steven Fuller
The bride was given in marriage by her sons, Allan Oxford Johnson and Brandon James Johnson.
Maid of honor was Taylor Katherine Johnson of Miami, Florida.
Bridesmaids were Charity Manwaring of Thomasville, Beverly Staley of Thomasville, Sherri Rogers of Greenville, South Carolina and Catherine Booher of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Flower girl was Peyton Lampkin of Belmont, North Carolina.
Ring bearers were Oxford Chaplin of Madison, Florida and Mason Lampkin of Cherryville, North Carolina.
Music for the ceremony was provided by: First Baptist Church of Gastonia organist, Mark Wingate.
Best man was Larry Lampkin of Belmont, North Carolina.
Groomsmen were Kristyn Fielding of Savannah, Willie Osborn of Thomasville, Rich Rogers of Greenville, South Carolina and Jacob Humphrey of Gastonia, North Carolina.
The reception was held at the bride and groom’s residence.
