Dora S. Fletcher
IRWIN COUNTY — Dora S. Fletcher, 97, of Irwin County, died Sunday, March 12, 2006 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Eureka Primitive Baptist Church in Irwin County with the Rev. Jim Osborn, the Rev. Stan Bowen and Dr. Buddy Deese officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 tonight at the Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Fletcher was born Oct. 28, 1908, in Coffee County to the late T.J. “Uncle Tommy” and Aleph Byrd Smith. She lived most of her life in Irwin County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Waterloo Homemakers Club and a member of Irwinville United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Fletcher is survived by her daughters, Jimmie M. Kelly and Karleen M. and Bryant Lane, all of Irwin County; two granddaughters, Warena Youmans of Irwin County and Jo Karon and Gary Cox of Valdosta; five great-grandchildren, Kim Youmans, Beth and Gary Vowell, Jay and Melissa Youmans, Erik and Stacy Cox and Heather and Chris Butler; five great-great-grandchildren, Kassidyn Youmans, Kagan Youmans, Koastal Youmans, Ethan Cox and Halle May Cox; two sisters, Ruby Kitchens and Laura Maude VanBrunt, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren J. Fletcher; a daughter, Alejo Moore; and three sisters.

Charles F. Rainey Jr.
TIFTON — Charles F. Rainey Jr., 62, of Tifton, died Saturday, March 11, 2006, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church sanctuary. Dr. Wayne Roe, Dr. W. Ches Smith III and Dr. Harvey Ellis will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery.
Jerry Shiver, Mac Wilder, Jack Perry, Ronald Griffith, Watson Guillebeau, Freddie Dwozan and Kenny Ray will serve as pallbearers.
Members of the Elvin Walker Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Mr. Rainey was born on Dec. 12, 1943, in Albany. He was the son of Charles F. Rainey Sr., deceased, and Mabel Holloman Rainey of Albany. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Tifton. He graduated from Albany High School and Georgia Southwestern College and served in the National Guard. His hobbies were geneology, southern history and he loved to snow ski and spend time with his family.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Mary Jensen Rainey of Tifton; a son and daughter-in-law, Chip and Krista Rainey of Chauncey; two daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Erick Willis of Tifton and Meg and Jacob Hale of Murphy, N.C.; two brothers, Tommy Rainey of Atlanta and Donnie Rainey of St. George Island, Fla.; two sisters, Ann Griffith of Franklin, Tenn. and Cindy Guillebeau of Albany; four grandchildren, Rick Willis, Mitch Willis, Jensen Rainey and Jake Hale.

Winfred Franklin Dell
MOULTRIE — Winfred Franklin Dell, 73, of Moultrie, died Monday, March 13, 2006, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Emerald Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Emerald Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Roy Hicks, the Rev. Ed Godwin and Charlie Allen will officiate.
Bo Jenkins, Alan Dell, Buck Dell, Rick Weathers, Damon Hall and Kim Allen Jr. will serve as pallbearers. Gary Weathers, Arnold Dell and Ben Allen will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Mr. Dell was born on June 17, 1932, in Brooks County. He was the son of Mattie Mae Asbell and Ellis Franklin Dell, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Casey Allen; a brother, Stephen Dell; and two sisters, Christine Dell and Ernestine Dell. He was a retired farmer.
Mr. Dell is survived by his wife, Mary S. Dell; sons Roger Dell and his wife Gina, Shane Dell and his wife Tenille, Keith Dell and friend Melissa, and Ricky Dell and friend Brenda, all of Moultrie: daughters Sue Jarvis and her husband Jimmy, Sherry Weathers and her husband Rick and Gwyn Hall and her husband Damon; a brother Richard Dell and his wife Maxine; sisters Edna Bryant and her husband Wallace, Maxine Dell Watson, Patricia Roland and her husband Donald and Theresa Dell;19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a special family friend, Karen Evans.
