Big turnout for Steve Claffey Memorial Soccer Game

- The Dogbone trophy went to the SHS varsity team.
LIVE OAK, Fla. — More than $3,000 was raised at the Steve Claffey Memorial Game on Dec. 27 at Paul Langford Stadium.
In the first game, the SHS Alumni team defeated Team Barcelona (Lake Park) 4-3.
The Varsity Bulldogs defeated the Alumni team 5-4 in the second game.
The money raised was donated to two soccer families who have suffered losses and are dealing with medical expenses.
The event was held in honor of the late Steve Claffey, a beloved teacher and soccer coach at Suwannee Middle School.
