Jewelry worth nearly $50,000 stolen

THOMASVILLE — Jewelry worth $47,000 was reported stolen on Feb. 24 from a residence on Collins Road in Grady County.
The complainant stated she noticed her jewelry was missing from her dresser drawer in the bedroom. The last time she remembers seeing the jewelry was Feb. 20.
According to the incident report, there was no sign of forced entry.
Among the missing jewelry is a gold necklace, a platinum sapphire and diamond set, an emerald and diamond bracelet, and a diamond chain bracelet, all by the famous jeweler, Tiffany & Co. Also missing is a Patie Phillipe gold ladies watch valued at $8,000 and several other gold watches, and a gold snake necklace valued at $8000.
In all, the complainant reported 18 items missing.
