Mr. and Mrs. Paul Daughtry Jr. of Thomasville announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Brown Daughtry, to Jeb Miller Johnson of Cairo. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Franklin Johnson Jr. of Cairo.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Deloy Daughtry Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. George Blake Brookerd all of Thomasville.

She graduated from Thomas County Central High School in 2008 and received her degree in dental hygiene from Darton College in May 2013. She is employed by Lumis C. Brown DDS in Cairo.

Johnson is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cone Drew Sr. and the late Mrs. Joan Miller Drew. He is also the grandson of Ms. Marion Bowman Jarnagin.

He is a 2008 graduate of Brookwood School and attended the University of Georgia. He is employed by Johnson Dairy in Cairo.

The wedding is Saturday, April 18, 2015, at First Methodist Church in Cairo.
