Matthew Addison (M.J.) Brinson Jr.

Services for Matthew Addison (M.J.) Brinson Jr., 3, of Quitman will be held on 4 p.m., Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Rick Mann will officiate. Born October 23, 2012 in Thomasville, he was the son of Matthew Brinson Sr. and Christy Brinson, who both survive. Friends with all he encountered, M.J. touched everyone he met in a certain way that only they knew, even strangers. Often referred to as the happiest little guy with the brightest smile, the joy he brought into the world is indescribable. In his little three years, he received more love than some people know in a lifetime. Although his first love was and will always be his family, the country boy in him loved airplanes, motorcycles, four-wheelers, golf carts, and especially his daddy’s tractor. His favorite part of each day was going to school where he often pretended to hunt deer like his older brothers and daddy. M.J. also loved laughing and singing and dancing. We were all truly blessed to have him in our lives for as long as we did. The sweetest boy, full of life and love, he was his mama’s baby, his daddy’s boy, mother’s darlin’, Nana Gail’s angel, Matthew Jr. and don’t you forget it. Other survivors include sisters, Natalie Brown, Angelica Hartford, Madison Marie Grace Benowitz and Shelby Kaeck; brothers, Dominic Myers, Christopher Lamb and Austin Lamb; grandparents, Jeanette Rhames, Gail Hoopes and Jerry Brinson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews

. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Guests may sign the online register at www.allenfh.com. — Allen & Allen Funeral Home
