THOMASVILLE- Downtown Thomasville invites the community to kick off the month with an evening of fun and entertainment at First Friday, taking place on Friday, May 2, beginning at 5:00 p.m. The event features extended shopping and dining hours, along with a free live concert from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at The Ritz Amphitheater, performed by the talented local artist Dana King & Gypsy Cotton.

“Spring is an ideal time to explore Downtown Thomasville and indulge in shopping and dining with local businesses,” said Cassidee Brooks, Special Events Coordinator. “The pleasant weather during this season also makes it perfect to attend a live concert.”

Guests can also enjoy a variety of food trucks stationed at The Ritz Amphitheater. Adults are welcome to stroll through the downtown area with an adult beverage in hand, available from participating local businesses.

First Friday events are free and open to the public, making them a perfect way to enjoy community, culture, and the vibrant local atmosphere that Thomasville has to offer.
