THOMASVILLE- The Cross Creek Elementary K-Kids Club once again led a successful effort to support the Thomasville Humane Society through their annual Coins 4 Critters fundraiser.
Students collected more than $2,500 in donations, and the K-Kids Club added to that amount, bringing the total contribution to $3,000 for the local animal shelter.
In recognition of their generosity, Melissa O’Neal’s third grade class and Jordan Taylor’s fourth grade class, which raised the most in their respective grades, were treated to a celebration party. Chandler Giddes, Executive Director of the Thomasville Humane Society, hosted the party—and even brought a few furry friends along for the fun.
Cross Creek Elementary extends its thanks to everyone who donated and helped make a difference for animals in need.
