Rose City Run’s Feinberg Award returns

The Joe Feinberg Award is presented annually to the elementary school in Thomas County with the highest percentage of student participation in the Rose City one mile run, scheduled for April 5.

The 46th annual Rose City Run starts at 8 am. The 44th annual Rose City one mile run follows at 9:30 am. 

The school with the best percentage has its name engraved on a bowl it keeps for one year. The school also receives a silver bowl it keeps permanently. Jerger Elementary won last year.

The deadline to register early for the Rose City one mile run is April 5. There is no registration on the day of the event for more information or to register, visit www.ymca-thomasville.org or call 226-9878.
