THOMASVILLE- A fatal accident on Dillon Road occurred on Friday, February 14, 2025, claiming the lives of two teenagers.

According to reports from the Georgia State Patrol, Arieon Hodge of Madison, Fla. was traveling west on Dillon Rd., approaching GA-35, when he came across a curve too fast, causing him to lose control of the vehicle.

Hodge crossed both lanes of traffic, before traveling off the roadway and onto the shoulder of Dillon Rd. After traveling onto the shoulder, Hodge struck a culvert with the front end of his vehicle.

The sudden strike caused the vehicle to go airborne for nearly 88 ft., rotating counter-clockwise, before a tree struck the car’s roof.

Upon striking the tree, the vehicle came to a rest in a ditch on the south shoulder of Dillon Rd.

Thomas County EMS responded immediately, where both Hodge and passenger, Gary Hill, 16, were pronounced dead on the scene. Neither individual appeared to have been wearing a seat belt.
