TASF celebrates antiques, designers, and a worthy cause

THOMASVILLE- Nestled in Georgia’s beloved Red Hills region, Thomasville Antiques Show returns February 27 through March 2, 2025, offering a weekend rich with high-style discovery and heartfelt giving.
Held at The Biscuit Company, this iconic event seamlessly combines the allure of storied treasures with a mission as enduring as the antiques it showcases—supporting children’s programs in Thomasville, Georgia and Thomas County. Since its inception, Thomasville Antiques Show Foundation has raised over $3.4 million for initiatives that nurture young lives by granting regional non-profits much needed funding.
It’s a celebration where gilded mirrors and weathered oak tell stories of the past, while shaping brighter tomorrows.
The show has earned its reputation for impeccable curation of speakers, vendors, and antiques. Each exhibitor is meticulously selected to ensure the highest quality and authenticity, offering attendees a collection of timeless pieces that span centuries and styles.
“We genuinely hope our patrons discover a new family heirloom while visiting the Thomasville Antique Show,” said Susan Turner, the TASF’s 2025 Show Chair. “But, we also want them to leave feeling inspired — enriched by the experience and curious about how cultivating a style that speaks to them can become a lifelong passion.”
From rare furniture to fine art, every item on display tells a story. Guest speakers, who are consistently celebrated creatives and experts in their fields, welcome audience engagement with open arms.
The weekend of shopping and exploration begins on Thursday, February 27, with a preview party. Benefactors are asked to join the party at 5:30 p.m. with patrons arriving at 7:00 p.m. This black-tie- soiree features a plated dinner by Southern Bleu with pairings by Liam’s and KIN, live music by Who Rescued Who, and all the convivial charm the region is known for.

On Friday, February 28, the antiques show will kick off at 9:30 a.m., and end at 4:30 p.m. General admission for the show is $25.
During the show, keynote speaker and renowned designer Timothy Corrigan will share insights from “At Home in France,” at 10 a.m., followed by a book signing. The cost for this experience is $75 and is presented with Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic and Dr. and Mrs. Cory Messerschmidt.
Flower Magazine Editor Margot Shaw and Floral Designer Canaan Marshall share on all things floral and events in a presentation at 2 p.m. Tickets for this specialty event are $60.
On Saturday, March 1, the antiques show will reopen at 9:30 a.m. and close at 4:30 p.m. General admission tickets will remain $25.
Saturday’s presentation will be led by McMillen, Inc. ‘s Ann Pyne and Elizabeth Pyne Singer, as they discuss the firm’s design legacy, followed by a signing of “100 Years of Decorating.” at 10 a.m. The cost to attend the presentation is $60 and presented with Brown & Brown | Auto-Owners Insurance.
A following presentation by Brooke and Steve Giannetti will be held at 1:30 p.m. as they delve into “Patina Homes & Gardens,” followed by a book signing. This presentation is also $60 and is presented with Wiregrass Electric.
To close out the fun afternoon, TASF will host Antiques & Aperitifs at 6 p.m. Sip cocktails, savor bites by jb crumbs, and enjoy live violin music in an intimate setting. Special guest, Kirk Moore hosts a terrarium demonstration for guests. The cost for this unique event is $85 and is presented with The Paxton House.
The final day of the show is, Sunday, March 2. The show will open at 11:00 a.m. and close at 2:30 p.m. General admission will remain $25.
During the day, an antiques & etiquette class will be offered at 1 p.m. for youth ages 9-14 to learn table-setting best practices. The cost for this event is $25 and presented with Imagination Emporium supported by National League of Junior Cotillion & Mingle Tablescapes.
Any event guests purchase tickets to has a direct impact in the community.
