Familiar Football Schedule for Thomasville Bulldogs

THOMASVILLE – The Thomasville Bulldogs navigated the 2024 football schedule en route to winning 10 games. The Bulldogs will have the same slate of games for the 2025 season as they hope to capture a region title.

Thomasville’s schedule will remain the same, though the venues will flip from where they were for the ’24 season. Thomasville’s home games will include non-region opponents Brooks County and Cairo, along with region opponents Jeff Davis, Fitzgerald, and Berrien. The Bulldogs will travel to non-region foes Pelham and Thomas County Central, along with region battles at Bacon County, Worth County, and Brantley County.

Thomasville should enjoy a solid financial return with home games against three big rivals in Brooks, Cairo, and Fitzgerald, says Thomasville coach Jonathan DeLay.

“Brooks especially is always a big gate. Cairo just depends on how both teams are. Fitzgerald, if it’s like how it was last year, it’ll be a big gate,” DeLay said.

Thomasville played well away from Veterans Memorial Stadium last season, finishing 5-1 on the road with key wins at Brooks County to open the season and at region rival Fitzgerald.

The dates for the games have yet to be finalized, as the Georgia High School Association still has not announced the key dates for next year’s football season.

Thomasville will also scrimmage Dougherty in the fall.
