THOMASVILLE- Thomasville Police Department responded to 105 Green St. in reference to a robbery on January 3, 2025, at approximately 4:15 p.m. The investigation showed a male suspect, later identified as Leonardo Antonio Davis, in a verbal conflict with the clerk and armed with a large rock.

Footage showed Davis walking around behind the counter, continuing to threaten the clerk.  Davis then opened the register and stole the cash from the drawer, before assaulting the clerk with the rock and fleeing the scene.

On Monday, January 6, 2025, detectives were able to identify the suspect as Davis. Investigators learned Davis was located at his residence, 1217 N. Dawson St. in Thomasville, Ga. There, they arrested him without further incident. Davis was charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault.
