THOMASVILLE – Freshman power forward Harmony Bryant and the Thomasville Lady Bulldogs took it to the Lady Makers on Saturday night. Thomasville came away with a 17-point victory, 52-35, netting their fifth win of the season and pushing the Lady Bulldogs past .500.

The story of the night was Bryant as the freshman, who is averaging 15.2 points per game, dropped 21 points on the Lady Makers. Bryant is no stranger to the scoring column. She scored a season-high 29 in her first game against Bainbridge and lit up Cairo for 28 in a 60-25 Thomasville win. She also pulled down 16 rebounds in the game, three shy of her season high.

Bryant was not the only contributor. Freshman Jayla Brooks dropped 12 on Cairo, while senior Jaleah Brown contributed nine to the Lady Bulldogs win. The Thomasville defense was rock solid, securing 29 turnovers in the game led by Brown’s five steals.
