THOMASVILLE – After a successful 11-2 season and a trip to the quarterfinals, 19 Yellow Jacket players were named to the Region 2-5A All-Region teams.

Newly signed USC Trojan Dee Reddick was named special teams player of the year. In addition to his already impressive abilities at safety, the Yellow Jackets used Reddick in the kick return game to great effect. Reddick was an integral part of Central’s special teams success, returning several kicks for touchdowns and putting the Central offense in excellent field position.

On offense, quarterback Jaylen Johnson, running back Christian “Deuce” Lawrence, receiver JB Watkins, and center Artem Korchagin were named first-team All-Region. Making first-team defense were defensive lineman Cam Brooks, linebackers Jaden Rubbo and Treyvon Pringle, and defensive back Dannel Jester. Drew Reneau made first-team special teams as a punter.
