Can you say something positive about your candidate?

To the Editor:

Yet again, the obsessive loathing that Froma Harop holds for anyone in the Republican party precludes her from saying anything positive about her candidate of choice. Like Kamala Harris, all she can do is put forth exaggerated (and, often, patently untrue) allegations of negative actions by Donald Trump. Instead of defending the failing economy, the outrageous exodus from Afghanistan, the borders and ports overrun with criminals and fentanyl, the actual 25% unemployment (taking into consideration those who cannot find full time employment and those earning less than $25,000 annually in full time positions) and the lawlessness and gun crimes raging in our Democrat-run cities, Ms. Harop chooses to pretend that former President Trump is unravelling, unhinged and a victimizer of ordinary people.

This is the man who works from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., traveling to the places where people are clearly suffering the neglect from the Biden/Harris failures as well as braving up to four interviews a day, along with a rally or two in places where he is meant to be unloved. He takes his case to them and tells them he will try to do what the country desperately needs if he is re-elected. I’d say there is a lot of mental and physical fortitude required for all of that, wouldn’t you? But, let’s take a moment away from defending him and leave the attacks against Ms. Harris and Ms. Harop aside.

Isn’t it true that Donald Trump sent $25,000 to the USMC Sargent who wrongfully spent 7 months in a Mexican prison (with no help from the Obama administration after his car erroneously crossed the border (at one of those many of those porous locations) with three firearms in the trunk, all of which he legally owned and was permitted to carry in the United States – – but not Mexico). Once, and finally released, he received a check from Donald Trump, wishing him the best and stating how very proud our country is of Sgt. Tahmooressi’s service.

Isn’t it true that Donald Trump gave a bus driver from Buffalo, NY a check for $10,000 after the driver stopped his bus and persuaded a despondent woman from taking her life. “. . . it was a warm-hearted first response to a dangerous situation,” said Mr. Trump in his letter to Darnell Barton. The Mayor of Buffalo proudly presented the check at a ceremony in honor of the bus driver, stating it was from a real estate mogul who considered the driver a “hero who brought a woman on the brink of suicide to safety.” And, not that it matters in the least except to all of those elite democrats who refer to Donald Trump as “racist”, Mr. Barton was not a white man.

Isn’t it true that Donald Trump provided his private plane to the three-year-old son of a Rabbi to transport the child to New York City for treatment. Because the boy needed the constant aid of a respirator, no commercial airline would fly him. Donald Trump didn’t hesitate to send the child and his family on his plane. Rabbi Harold Ten will certainly never forget Donald Trump’s generosity of spirit and the life-saving transportation given to save the life of his son.

Just a small list of tiny things that Donald Trump did for ordinary people and his quiet “joy in pulling them off”.

I’m not voting for Donald Trump, I’m voting for what he has shown he will do FOR our country and its people. That list is a lot longer than Froma Harop or Kamala Harris can fit on their cheat sheets.
