THOMASVILLE – As the cross country and softball seasons are coming to a close, a number of Brookwood cross country and softball athletes have received all-region honors.

For cross-country, boys Wesley Warren, Kent Grayson, Matthew Lauderdale, and Mason Brunson were named all-region. For the girls Abby Stalvey and Olivia Mizell received honors.

In softball, the Lady Warriors had a solid season, finishing at 10-10 and 4-4 in the region, which was good for third. Brookwood advanced to the second round of the GIAA state playoffs after beating John Milledge. They were eventually eliminated by Pinewood.

Warriors softball players Josey Hollifield, Audrey Harrison, Kendall Moore, and Morgan Boggs received all-region honors, while Ava Bodell and Carriyona Williams received honorable mentions.
