THOMASVILLE- Thomasville Toyota and Thomasville Ford staff, for the seventh year, announced their commitment to being the presenting sponsor for Archbold’s Pink Affair, a benefit fashion show featuring local cancer survivors.
With over fifty models signed up to walk the runway, the Pink Affair promises to be another fun event, shining a bright spotlight on Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Proceeds from this year’s Pink Affair will go toward the Lewis Hall Singletary Archbold Cancer Center’s resource fund and will directly benefit under-served patients in the region, particularly those at a higher risk of developing breast cancer. This includes the financial support for patients who participate in the Helping Oncology Patients Exercise (HOPE) Program, a strategic collaboration between the Thomasville YMCA and the Archbold Cancer Center. The HOPE Program aims to improve the health and quality of life for cancer patients and survivors in our community.
“We are grateful to once again partner with the Lewis Hall Singletary Archbold Cancer Center and the Archbold Foundation for this year’s Pink Affair,” said Greg Issacs, Owner of Thomasville Toyota and Thomasville Ford. “Our community is extremely fortunate to have a state-of-the-art cancer center that ensures our loved ones don’t have to travel far to receive comprehensive and compassionate care.”
“We are thrilled once again to be back at the Thomasville Center for the Arts to help promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the Pink Affair,” said Vann Middleton, President of the Archbold Foundation. “This event has been a successful fundraiser for the Lewis Hall Singletary Archbold Cancer Center for over 10 years now. We are especially grateful for all of our sponsors of the Pink Affair, in particular our good friends at Thomasville Toyota and Thomasville Ford, who have once again stepped up as the Presenting Sponsor of the event.”
The Pink Affair will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the Thomasville Center for the Arts. Doors open at 6pm. To purchase tickets to the Pink Affair, please visit archbold.org/pinkaffair or call the Archbold Foundation at 229.228.2924.
