THOMASVILLE — On November 9, the Thomasville — Thomas County Sports Hall of Fame will be hosting their annual Hall of Fame banquet to honor and induct six new Rose City legends. Alex Mash, Daryl Cleveland, Lamb Andrews, Level Speigner, Mike Posey and Tex Hamm will all be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

In order to be considered for the Thomasville — Thomas County Sports Hall of Fame certain criteria must be met. All inductees must be 40-years-old or older and current or past coaches, referees, trainers, participants or have made a “exceptional contributions to sports and who have lived a lifestyle as a positive role model.

Additionally, they must be natives of Thomasville or Thomas County and must have attended school in the area.”

These six inductees have met the criteria and on November 9 they will join the likes of Mike Bobo, Randy Young, Charlie Ward and Guy McIntyre as members of the Thomasville — Thomas County Sports Hall of Fame.

The night will begin at the Everett-Milton YMCA, where inductees, friends and family will gather. They will then head to Thomasville High School where the ceremony will take place.

The induction ceremony will begin at 7:00 p.m. and tickets are $20, which includes a meal. Tickets can be purchased at the Thomasville YMCA. For more information, contact Tom Everett.
